FMW Fasteners

A specific nut that I needed on the restoration of my 71 Plymouth Roadrunner is no longer available or manufactured so I spent a lot of time getting feedback from parts distributors as to where to find anything close to what I needed. I was referred to FMW fasteners and searched their site and found a part very close to the original nut that I needed to fasten the hood bezels that have the engine call out numbers on them. They take a specific nut/washer combination. I spoke with the representative at FMW and even sent pics of the original hardware to match and after discussing several options was sent 2 different sizes to try and one of them works perfectly and although appearance isn’t 100% exact, it is very close and acceptable! Fantastic communication and excellent service! The nut also has an original Chrysler item number identification so was used by Chrysler. T40 x 1 Tamper Resistant Torx Insert Bit (1/4 Hex)

I googled for security screws for an outdoor light. I had it set and someone climbed a ladder and turned the light straight down to the base of the pole. I readjusted the light and put in a phillips screw in place of the original thumb screw. It was turned down again. I found FMW Fasteners using my google search and found what I was looking for. It took me a few minutes to learn the sorting process. I ordered 3 lengths and one was perfect. I have installed the screw and no more light movement.
If I ever need special screws in the future I will search FMW Fasteners first.
