1/4 x 3 1/4 Simpson Flat Head Titen Turbo™ Concrete and Masonry Screw Anchor Zinc Plated w/ Ceramic Coat Black (T25 6-Lobe) - Box (100)The Titen Turbo screw anchor features an innovative Torque Reduction Channel to trap drilling dust where it can’t obstruct thread action, significantly reducing binding, stripping, and snapping without compromising strength. The patented reverse thread design enables smooth driving with less torque while providing superior holding power. The Torque Reduction Channel also allows more space for dust to help prevent anchors from bottoming out in smaller-diameter screw holes. The Titen Turbo screw anchors feature a serrated leading edge to cut into concrete or masonry, and a pointed tip for fast, easy installation in wood-to-concrete and wood-to-wood anchoring applications.
Key features include a patented Torque Reduction Channel that reduces dust obstruction and binding, available with a hex head, 6-lobe-drive countersunk flat head, or trim head for a flush profile, and a 6-lobe drive for positive bit engagement and easy installation with long bit life. The package includes a 6-lobe bit for countersunk flat and trim-head versions. It offers superior tension load performance and doesn’t require a matched-tolerance bit, compatible with standard ANSI drill bits. The serrated screw point aids easier starts in wood fastening, designed for installation with an impact driver or cordless drill. Recommended for use with the Titen Turbo Installation Tool, suitable for dry interior environments only, and code-listed per ICC-ES AC193 for uncracked concrete and ICC-ES AC106 for masonry. Applications include electrical boxes, conduit, light fixtures, windows, thresholds, and shelf mounting to concrete. The product includes bits in 100 and 1,000-count flat and trim-head quantities, with retail packages not including a drive bit. Made of carbon steel with a zinc-plated, baked-on ceramic finish.
